Last week, Andi and I participated in our first home school trade show. Of course we studied the market prior to forking over the booth fee, but so many times buying behavior and consumer characteristics can’t be boiled down into statistical numbers. Sometimes you just have to test and observe the waters.
The two long days were made shorter due to meeting some of the nicest people around. We made new friends, discovered a new market for Biz in a Boxx and sent happy kids on the path to entrepreneurship.
One thing we noticed was that many of the kids were even more interested in starting and running their own business and making their own money then their parents. To us, it was exciting to see that not only was there a need to expose kids to entrepreneurship, but that the kids wanted it as well. One young girl came by our booth shortly after her mother purchased a kit; she was thumbing through it and telling us how excited she was to open her box and get going. Jeremiah, a talented 16-year-old and aspiring entrepreneur with three businesses under his belt was eager to learn all he could about the business world. (Andi and I were thoroughly amazed with him.)
Overall, Biz in a Boxx will be helping 34 young people (and two adults) discover the world entrepreneurship. And their success in innovating, creating jobs and improving the economy, now and in the future, will be a benefit to us all.
Congrats to all!
Melissa

Congratulations on your really neat product, Biz in a Boxx! I would have definitely bought your product if my kids were still young.

By the way, I discovered you through BlogFrog.
