A month or so ago, I came across a free service called Help A Reporter Out that links reporters from publications/blogs/books with people who have the inside scoop. Personally, I love getting the three emails a day and the twitter updates, especially for expert-needed stories like “Mexican Women with Farming Experience” or “Sunday Pagan Worship Services” or “State of Nanotube Production.”
Occassionally, there is something that I can respond to like when I told a reporter about how my mother plans to be cremated so that her ashes can be placed at the Mall of America with the ashes of her beloved dog, Bubba, who recently passed away. Along with that are various inquiries for unique, inexpensive gifts for the holidays and we’ve been fortunate to be featured in some of their recent media posts. Here’s the latest from Your Carolina:
