Our launch date began as our deadline date, a day that seemed reasonably far enough into the future that we would be ready to start selling Biz in a Boxx. It was also a reasonable deadline to give our website developers, especially since we’ve been working on Biz in a Boxx for almost a year now. May 15, 2009 is forever remembered as the day we officially took our idea and brought it to the marketplace.
This morning I attended a Workshop Development Committee meeting held through the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce. I’m new to the group, which consists of school administrators from the Scottsdale Unified School District, local human resource professionals and a few uncategorized folks like myself. When you boil down the true mission of the group, the focus is on the kids and finding ways to provide them with a better education and a better future.
After attending the meeting only twice before, it was great to finally tell them that today was our launch date. The principal for Alhambra College Prep in Phoenix was excited to hear about it and we set up a time that I could come visit her new school and discuss having a Biz in a Boxx class this fall. A possible sale the very first day.
Success to you!
Melissa
